March 2008 Hot Tips Contests for Kids The Puyallup Spring Fair’s Creative Kids Exhibit has a new way for kids to compete. The Style-a-Shoe Contest for ages 6-15 allows kids creative reign as they decorate shoes in various categories: Boot, High Heeled Shoe, Sandal, Tennis Shoe, Flip Flop or Loafer, and Slipper. Woodland Park Zoo wants help naming the newest baby gorilla. The western lowland gorilla was born last October to mother Amanda and father Vip.
