March 2006 Calendar Highlights Ralph's World Ralph Covert and his band perform for kids and their significant adults March 25th at Experience Music Project, fresh on the heels of his first Grammy nomination. Ralph's latest CD, Green Gorilla, Monster and Me, was nominated in the "Best Musical Album For Children" category. Ralph's music doesn't talk down to kids. His lyrics are clever and fun, with everyday subjects that kids can easily relate to, while the sound ranges from the best of pop to serious rockin' out. Unlike a lot of children's entertainers, his work is not sugary-sweet, but truly of high enough quality that parents will enjoy it as much as their kids. In fact, some parents might remember Ralph from his days as the leader of early-90s rock group the Bad Examples. Ralph's World concerts are guaranteed fun for the whole family. 11am and 3pm March 25. $20. Experience Music Project, 325 Fifth Ave. N, Seattle. 206-628-0888. www.themoore.com.
